EDP (Equipment Disbursement Program) The Oklahoma Equipment Distribution Program (OK-EDP) provides free TTYs and other adaptive equipment to Oklahomans with disabilities who require special equipment to use the telephone. Individuals whose 2002 family income was less than $23,880.00, and who have proof of a disability requiring adaptive telephone equipment, can qualify for up to $750 to cover the costs of necessary equipment. If an individual\'s disability creates a need that exceeds $750, a waiver of the cap may be available. In addition, individuals whose income exceeds the limit may receive funding through surplus funds available at the end of the year. Equipment that can be funded includes: - TTY, large visual display TTY and Braille TTY - Amplifier and ring/flasher device - Voice carry-over telephone and hearing carry-over telephone - Personal computer (new or used) if purchased with TTY software - TTY software for a personal computer - Other adaptive equipment needed to connect to the telephone system For more information or to receive an application contact the Oklahoma Equipment Distribution Program toll-free at 866-309-1717 (Voice/TTY).
